Timur Angin is a hard-working experienced commercial & corporate photographer. Timur Angin has started photography in Jogjakarta at 1998. It was a journalism photo shoot of a reformist demonstration in Soeharto era and he became the victim of an anarchist incident while doing the documentation. Move to Jakarta after being injured and hospitalized for more than a month, he enrolled Jakarta Art Institute - Institut Kesenian Jakarta (IKJ) majoring in Documentary Movie Directing. It wasn’t long until he met Garin Nugroho, a famous Indonesian Movie Director and join Garin’s team did some movies Still Photography.

Together with his arise photography contribution, Timur also became freelance contributors for some national and international magazines. As demands growth, Timur’s attainment in traveling photography and international project such as Laya project (www.layaproject.com) has brought him to Maldives, Israel, India, Srilanka, Thailand, Myanmar, Mumbai, Chennai, etc. As well as his noncommercial, Timur’s corporate works has also been established nowadays.

Apart from his photography work and as a speaker at some workshops/seminars and judge for some competitions, Timur also own a coffee shop “Kedai Lante Satu” in West Jakarta and currently developing a Dive Center called OverdoseasDive which provide dive course and dive trip. Now that he spend most of his time in Jakarta, to keep him sane is by keep capturing underwater photography, not to forget laptop, shades, music and his little family. Timur is deeply believe in hard work, team work, and humanity. Timur’s concern in humanity create his preference to shoot human & living things rather than product.
